THE BIBLE SAYS THAT GOD WAS MARRIED TO ANCIENT ISRAEL

.

In Isaiah 54:4 God says;

4: Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

5: For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6: For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God

7: For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

8: In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer

According to this prophecy of Isaiah, God was married to Ancient Israel (verse 5). Notice also in this prophecy that Israel was referred to as a "widow" (verse 4). Since God says that he was married to Ancient Israel, which he was, then it seems that God would then have to die to make Israel a widow as he had prophesied.

Also notice in this prophecy, that God said that he would gather thee, (Israel), at some time in the future (verse 7). At the time of this prophecy of Isaiah's, the northern ten tribes of Israel had been conquered and taken into the Assyrian captivity, these tribes became known to history as the 'Lost Ten Tribes of Israel'. Later the southern kingdom of Israel, called Judah, was taken into captivity to Babylon.

GOD DIVORCES ISRAEL.

Isa 50:1 Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.

Note: This prophecy of God's divorce from Israel is referring to the captivity of Israel by the Assyrians. Thus God divorced Israel by putting her away into the Assyrian captivity.

According to history and the Christian Bible, Ancient Israel was dispersed throughout all the nations of the world, but that in the 'latter days,' was to be regathered collectively into a great nation, and a company of nations. This prophecy (Isa. 54:4-8) said that the regathering of Israel would be after God, (who is Jesus, as most Christians believe) died, therefore making Israel a widow.

Since the God of the Old Testament is Jesus, and since he was married to Israel, by his dying on the cross, would therefore make Israel a Widow. Since Israel then became a widow this would free Israel from her old covenant and allow her to marry again, in a new covenant relationship with God (Jesus).

According to Gods law, a woman was not allowed to marry another man, while her husband still lived even though she was divorced from him. She was allowed to marry again, only if her husband died.

Jesus, who is God, literally fulfilled the law by his dying on the cross. Since the God of the Old Testament died on the cross, which he did, and his new name was Jesus, which it was, then according to Gods law he also, was free to marry again, to marry his Bride, 'Israel.'

The song 'American Pie' refers to America as 'Miss America,' signifying that she is unmarried, because of her title 'Miss.' The song also say's by it's own interpretation that America is a 'widow' and the future 'bride' of Jesus.

With this information you have just learned, I will now make the historical and Biblical connection from America to Ancient Israel, who was married to God, then divorced from him, widowed, and then became a bride who is to be married to him (Jesus) at some future date.

To more clearly understand the song 'American Pie' I will make this Biblical and historical connection of 'White-Anglo-Saxon America' (who is the 'Widowed Bride') to Ancient Israel, who's husband died therefore making Israel a widow. I will now go into Bible history and secular history, and prove to you that 'White Anglo-Saxon America' is 'Israel regathered along with the other nations of Christendom consisting of the Germanic, Scandinavian, and Kindred Peoples.

HEIRS OF THE PROMISE"

The following information is from a book called 'Heirs of the Promise' by Pastor Sheldon Emry.

Beginning in Geneses the 12th chapter God told Abraham;

Gen. 12: 2: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

And again God said to Abraham;

Gen. 17:1: And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2: And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

3: And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

4: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

5: Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6: And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7: And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

And again God said to Abraham;

Gen 17:15: And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

16: And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations;

ABRAHAM'S DESCENDANTS ARE TO INHERIT THE COVENANT MADE WITH GOD.

Abraham already had a son, and his name was Ishmael, who was his son by Sarai's Egyptian handmaiden, Hagar. This great covenant was not to be made with Ishmael, but with Isaac. God continued to confirm these blessings to Abraham and he said;

Gen. 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

20: And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

21: But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

ABRAHAM'S DESCENDANTS ARE TO INHERIT THE COVENANT MADE WITH GOD.

Abraham already had a son, and his name was Ishmael, who was his son by Sarai's Egyptian handmaiden, Hagar. This great covenant was not to be made with Ishmael, but with Isaac. God continued to confirm these blessings to Abraham and he said;

According to the Christian Bible, this covenant of God's was established with Isaac. The twelve Princes that descended from Ishmael, are known today as, the twelve Arab Nations (Note--you can confirm this truth by looking under the Smiths Bible Dictionary, under the heading, Ishmael). The Arabs in their own history books acknowledge that the Arabs descend from Ishmael.

From The New Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia- Release 6;

{ish'-may-el}

According to Genesis 16, Ishmael was the son of the patriarch ABRAHAM by the Egyptian handmaiden HAGAR. When Abraham's supposedly barren wife SARAH finally bore ISAAC, a rivalry developed between Sarah and Hagar and thus between the two half brothers, Isaac and Ishmael. Cast out into the wilderness, Ishmael was the ancestor of the nomadic Arabian Ishmaelites, arranged, like the Israelites, into twelve tribes. Because Islam traces its lineage from Abraham through Ishmael

Isaac was born according to Gods word. Isaac later married Rebecca, and she was given a blessing also;

Gen. 24:60: And they (the angels) blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

To Isaac and Rebecca were born twin sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau although the elder, sold his birthright to Jacob, who then became the rightful inheritor of these covenants. God appeared To Jacob to confirm these covenants. God said to Jacob;

Gen. 28:14: And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed
