THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, THE DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM, IS AMERICA.

Zechariah's prophecies of prophetic Zion, and prophetic Jerusalem;

Zech. 8: 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

3: Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain (nation) of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain (nation).

God describes, how he will make the disbursed of Israel, a strong nation he says;

Micah 4: 6 In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

7: And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

rem*nant (rµm"n...nt) n. 1. Something left over; a remainder. 2. A leftover piece of fabric remaining after the rest has been used or sold. 3. A surviving trace or vestige. 4. Often remnants. A small surviving group of people.

Israel was cast off, into the Assyrian captivity, and then, was driven north, and west, into Europe, to become the great Christian nations of Europe. Then representatives of the Tribes of Israel, were gathered into the great melting pot nation, the greatest nation, that has ever existed, in all of recorded history. The only nation founded by those who believe in the Lord Jesus, as the Virgin Born Son of God, The United States of America. God has made us a strong nation. God says of our nation 'The Daughter of Zion;

Micah 4:8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

Notice in Micah, 4:8 that this prophetic kingdom, is also referred to as the 'Daughter of Jerusalem,' and 'the Daughter of Zion,' these names are some of America's prophetic Biblical names. In other words, whenever you see these prophetic names, spoken in the Bible, they are referring to America.

This prophecy of Micah's also say's that the 'Kingdom of God' would come to 'the daughter of Zion, and the Daughter of Jerusalem.' In other words, a place altogether different than the old Jerusalem, this new Kingdom would be altogether 'new.' It didn't say, that the Kingdom of God, would go to the old anti-Christ city, called by the same name (Jerusalem), in Jewish occupied Palestine.

The 'Kingdom of God,' did not come to the old Jerusalem, it came to the 'Daughter of Jerusalem,' the 'Daughter of Zion,' it came to 'America,' the 'Daughter of Zion,' of Bible prophecy.

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST IS THE HOLY CITY, NOT THE CHURCH

    The bride of Christ is the 'Holy city,' the City of the Great God, the New Jerusalem, the Daughter of Jerusalem, the Daughter of Zion, the burdensome stone, the city that angels measure. It was so big that it had towns without walls, with a multitude of men and cattle therein. It is called 'the City of Truth,' the Mountain of the Lord, the Great Zion, the nation bringing forth the fruits thereof, 'The United States of America.'

    You can see from 'Bible Prophecy, and America's history,' that America is that 'nation' that 'God promised to Abraham's descendants.' History records it, the Bible foretold it, and God brought it to pass. America is the 'Widowed Bride of Jesus,' the 'Widowed Bride, spoken of in the song American Pie.'

    In summation, God divorced Ancient Israel, he then disbursed her throughout all the heathen nations of the world, he then died for her on the 'Cross of Calvary,' this death of Jesus, who is God, then made Israel, a widow. 'Jesus then rose from the dead, regathered his Israel sheep, into America, where God say's the 'New Jerusalem' is. The 'New Jerusalem' is the same as the 'Kingdom,' and is now representative of the 12 Tribes of Israel.

    The Bible say's that the Lamb of God will marry this New Jerusalem-America. That is why the song, 'American Pie,' refers to America as his 'Widowed Bride,' America is Christ's Widowed Bride, the Bride of the Lamb.

    Now that you have been shown, that America is the 'New Jerusalem,' of Bible prophecy, the regathered 'House of Israel,' and the "Widowed Bride," of Jesus, I can now continue with the interpretation of the song 'American Pie.' You the reader of this scrolled document will need this Biblical information concerning the 'Widowed Bride,' if you are to understand, the meaning of this very important and complex song.

    I now believe that I have made the historical, and Biblical connections between Ancient Israel and America. This connection is essential, if you are to learn, and understand that the 'Bible' and the song 'American Pie,' are saying the same thing concerning America's future. With this information let us now get on with the interpretation of 'American Pie.'

    AMERICAN PIE AND THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE.

    Verse Two says;

    Did you write the book of love? And do you have faith in God above? If the Bible tells you so. Now, do you believe in rock and roll? Can music save your mortal soul, And can you teach me how to dance real slow? Well, I know that you're in love with him, Cause, I saw you dancing in they gym. You both kicked off your shoes. Man I dig those rhythm and blues. I was a lonely teenage bronkin buck with a pink carnation and a pickup truck. But I knew I was out of luck the day the music died, I started singing;

    Bye Bye Miss American Pie. Drove my Chevy y to the levee. But the levee was dry. Them good ole-boys were drinking, whiskey and rye singing, "This'll be the day that I die, this'll be the day that I die."

    THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING 'AMERICAN PIE IS THE BIBLE.'

    The beginning lyrics in verse two, of American Pie, mentions the Bible, it says;

    "do you have faith in God above?" If the Bible tells you so."

    As we know, the word symbols used in American Pie, come directly out of the Christian Bible. This second verse of American Pie asks;

    "if the Bible tell you so?"

    The answer is, yes the Bible, really does tell you so. The Bible reveals, the meaning of the song, as you shall see. It seems strange that the lyrics of this very popular song, would have connections, to the Bible, and even mentions it.

    In the second verse of American Pie, the lyrics talk about the Christian Bible, and asks;

    "if you have faith in God above if the Bible tells you so."

    You can not help but notice that the Bible is mentioned in this song along with many of it's Biblical symbols, and verses. As we get deeper into the interpretation of verse three, of 'American Pie,' you will easily see that it is a 'Biblical prophecy for 'America,' written and sung as a 'dirge.'

    BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF AMERICAN PIE.

    American Pie is a song that you will have to learn if you are to under stand it's hidden prophetic message.

    Verse One says;

    A long, long time ago, I can still remember how that music used to make me smile. I knew that, if I had my chance that, I could make those people dance, and maybe they'd be happy for a while. But February made me shiver, with every paper I'd deliver. Bad news on the door step, I couldn't take one more step. I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride. But something touched me deep inside the day the music died.

    Chorus:

    So, Bye Bye Miss American Pie. Drove my Chevy y to the levee. But the levee was dry. Them good ole-boys were drinking, whiskey and rye singing, "This'll be the day that I die, this'll be the day that I die."

    With the information we have now learned, we can go back to the place we were at the beginning of the song in verse one. As we get deeper into the meaning of the first verse of American Pie, you will find that it continues telling the story of the young Christian boy, as he continues to lament about his past, and the events that caused the miserable conditions that He and his fellow Americans were living under in the first and sixth verses of American Pie.

    The past he is singing about, is our future, the people he is singing about are, the American People, who the song refers to as his 'Widowed Bride.' Again the lyrics of American pie, start out by saying;

    A long, long time ago, I can still remember how that music used to make me smile.

    According to this song, the boy is in our future ( Note- it is the future because most of these calamities have not happened to America as of yet) and at the present time of this calamity of which he is talking about in the first verse, he is remembering times past, when a long, long time ago, when the music, used to make him smile.

    smile (smşl) n. 1. A facial expression characterized by an upward curving of the corners of the mouth and indicating pleasure, amusement, or derision. 2. A pleasant or favorable disposition or aspect. --smile v. smiled, smil·ing, smiles. --intr. 1. To have or form a smile. 2.a. To look with favor or approval. b. To express cheerful acceptance or equanimity. --tr. 1. To express with a smile. 2. To effect or accomplish with or as if with a smile. --smil"er n. --smil"ey or smil"y adj. --smil"ing·ly adv. --smil"ing·ness n.

    When somebody smiles, we can assume that they are happy. In this case the word 'smile,' means happy, is a word, symbolizing a happy way of life. In this case since we learned from the information given in the sixth verse that he was a Christian boy, we can assume that this was the Christian way of life that made him smile. This sacred music used to make him happy, and caused him to smile.

    The song says that the kind of music that used to make him happy, was the 'sacred music.' Verse six of the song reveals that the sacred music used to make him smile;

    Verse Six says;

    I went down to the sacred store, where I heard the music years before, but the man there said the music wouldn't play. In the streets the children screamed, the lovers cried and the poets dreamed. But not a word was spoken, the church bells all were broken.

    The sixth verse of this song says that, the boy went down to the 'sacred store,' where he heard the music 'years before.' Now since he went down to the 'sacred store,' to find the happy music, he heard years before it would then stand to reason that the happy music would have to be 'Sacred Music,' now wouldn't it. A 'sacred store' would carry only, 'sacred things, one of which would be 'The Sacred Music.' This then, makes the music, that made him happy, 'Sacred Music,'

    Verse six verse is a continuation of the first verse, and is actually the same place and time in American history. Both verses (verse one and six) speak of the same 'Sacred Music.' The lyrics in verses, two, three, four, and five, of American Pie talk about America's past. This sacred music mentioned in America Pie, is symbolically, and musically speaking, the Christian way of life, in much the same way as, country music speaks musically and is symbolic of the rural American way of life.

    In the sixth verse of American Pie, it refers to the 'Church bells,' as being broken. These church bells, are used in the same context as the sacred music as the lyrics show. The word 'church' as we know, refers only to the Christian Churches, and no other, and the sixth verse of American Pie says that these Christian 'Church Bells all were broken.' Notice the lyric's of the sixth verse which say;

    But not a word was spoken, the church bells all were broken.

    The dictionary says of the word Church;

    church (chûrch) n. Abbr. c., C., ch., Ch. 1. A building for public, especially Christian worship. 2. Often Church.a. The company of all Christians regarded as a mystic spiritual body. b. A specified Christian denomination. c. A congregation. 3. Public divine worship in a church; a religious service. 4. The clerical profession; clergy. 5. Ecclesiastical power as distinguished from the secular. 6. Christian Science. "The structure of Truth and Love" (Mary Baker Eddy). --church tr.v. churched, church·ing, church·es. 1. To conduct a church service for, especially to perform a religious service for (a woman after childbirth). --church adj. Of or relating to the church; ecclesiastical.

    The word 'Sacred' according to a good dictionary means 'consecrated to God, Holy, Hallowed, Venerated, etc..' The dictionary says of the word 'sacred;'

    sa·cred (s³"krıd) adj. 1. Dedicated to or set apart for the worship of a deity. 2. Worthy of religious veneration. 3. Made or declared holy. 4. Dedicated or devoted exclusively to a single use, purpose, or person. 5. Worthy of respect; venerable. 6. Of or relating to religious objects, rites, or practices. --sa"cred·ly adv. --sa"cred·ness n.

    We have now established that, the music that the Christian boy is lamenting about in the first verse of American Pie is the same 'Sacred Music' of the sixth verse which would of course contain the 'Sacred Holy Word of God.' Therefore this sacred music is symbolic of 'Christian America's' way of life, since the song 'American pie' is singing about America and is addressed to her.
